WCAG Image Checker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All analysis happens locally in your browser.
When you click the extension icon or the scan button, the extension reads the image elements on the page you are currently viewing. It checks each image’s alt attribute against accessibility rules and displays the results in the side panel.

The extension requests permission for a site only when you ask it to scan that site. Permission is requested per domain and can be revoked at any time in Chrome’s extension settings.
